Dan Schreiner is the Owner of ComForCare, Home Care – Cape & South Coast, spanning from the tip of Provincetown through Plymouth to the Rhode Island boarder of Massachusetts. He’s also the Founder and Managing Director of Equality Senior Living, a national company providing guidance to LGBT seniors in finding safe, supporting senior living communities.
Prior to moving to Cape Cod, Dan was a member of the Senior Executive Service and served as the single federal Medicare Beneficiary Ombudsman with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services under both the Bush and the Obama Administrations, where he made recommendations to the Secretary of Health and Human Services and Congress on improvements in the program now serving more than 60 million Americans. He has his Master’s from the School of Public Health at Johns Hopkins University.
Dan lives in Truro, MA and is involved in many organizations on the outer Cape, including serving as the Chair for the Counsel on Aging in Truro.
Apryl Shenk - Administrative Assistant

Apryl has lived on Cape Cod most of her life and has generations of family here. She has raised her two daughters here, which are now adults and remain in the community. She has been a longtime resident of Truro, along with her husband and two dogs, enjoying the country life.
Apryl has served the community in a wide range of positions, most recently as a chef in a nursing home, as a board member of the Truro COA, and now as the Administrative Assistant for ComForCare Home Care Cape & South Coast. “I love to see people thrive, so if I can help them do that, it makes me very happy.”
Julia Garcia - Office Administrator

Julia is our first point of contact with our caregivers. She works remotely from Florida where she lives with her husband and three daughters. Before joining the ComForCare team she worked as an elementary education teacher.
Her passion for serving people carries into her role with us by finding the best possible caregivers for our clients. .
